About Uncle Bob’s Pix

I’ve taken a lot of pictures.  Both of my brothers were, at one time, newspaper photographers.  I had a camera that I was actively using (when I could afford film and processing) when I was 12 years old.  I was a newspaper photographer for a brief time, too and was a camera repairman for about a decade, before the cameras became the  digital delights that there are now.  I love ’em. I have four or so compact cameras, and I possess an Olympus with a 2.0 lens and it would have scared the holy crap out of me ten years ago.  I know somewhere in the manual it tells me how I can use it to communicate with aliens… I also use a Nikon D3200.  It’s been much maligned by experts, but it’s light and a delight to use.  I’ve got it on a sling strap and it produces great pix.
